Warranty Policy

Your new product purchased from Smeg Vietnam is covered for manufacturing defects within the warranty period specified below:

Warranty Terms

  • This warranty applies only to products purchased from Smeg Vietnam.
  • All accessories are not covered under warranty.
  • The original purchase receipt issued by Smeg Vietnam is required for warranty service.
  • Small home appliances and cookware must be brought to our Service Center for inspection/repair.
  • Any modification or extension of these warranty terms by any party other than Smeg Vietnam will render the extended warranty void.
  • Smeg Vietnam reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for service requests.
  • Smeg Vietnam may refuse service for expired warranties, obsolete products, or products that cannot be repaired or replaced for any reason.
  • Any replaced product or component becomes the sole property of Smeg Vietnam and must be returned to Smeg Vietnam.
  • The warranty does not cover any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by the product. Smeg Vietnam’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair and/or replacement of defective products.
  • Smeg Vietnam reserves the right to charge additional fees or refuse service for products installed in inaccessible or hazardous locations for service personnel.

Exclusions

  • Serial number has been removed, erased, or found to be tampered with.
  • Products misused or installed incorrectly, not following the provided User Manual and product specifications.
  • Unauthorized interference or modification of the product.
  • Normal wear and tear, corrosion, rust, or stains.
  • Loss, damage, or compensation for any contents or perishable items stored in any non-functioning appliance.
  • Improper AC power supply or faulty circuit breakers.
  • Use of household appliances in commercial settings such as laundromats, hotels/hostels, medical centers, restaurants, etc.
  • Damage, scratches, dents, or missing parts discovered after delivery. Customers are responsible for thoroughly inspecting products before accepting delivery.
  • Water filters, plastic containers, drawers, shelves, faucets, trays, and accessories.
  • Damage caused by accidents, fire, floods, or natural disasters.
  • Regular cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of the product.
